Building a product from scratch is kind of troublesome.

Building a product from scratch is kind of troublesome. At the same time as you believe in your product, other people might not. You think you have the best idea in the world, and it is difficult to imagine that others think differently. I actually think it is important to feel like this. If you don't believe in your own idea, who will? But to generate cash, the product needs to be sellable. More importantly, it needs to be something that customers actually want to buy. And many times, it is not really about the product. It is about the problem you solve for the customer. That means you are not only building a product. You are also trying to understand what the product should become. At the same time, you need to understand your customers, test new ideas, change priorities and make sure every investment creates value. Many people talk about the business model as if you decide it once. I don't really agree with that. Yes, you need a clear business plan and a business strategy to know where you are going. But the way you create value for your customers changes all the time. You test, you learn, you improve, and sometimes you need to change direction completely. Today, we have sold more than 37,000 sensors to customers across the UK and Ireland, and I am very proud of that. But it didn't happen quickly. It has taken many years of customer meetings, product improvements, mistakes, feedback and many small changes from many people involved. Just as importantly, it has taken time to help customers understand what they really need. And to be honest, many times we have learned together. When I look back, I don't think we have only been selling products. We have been building trust - We have been solving real customer problems - We have been learning every day. And step by step, we have improved our product to create more value. The product is never finished - The value you create is never finished - The learning is never finished. Protect your cash, because cash gives you the time to learn, improve your product and build something that customers really want! https://www.linkedin.com/posts/kjell-karlsson-4283665_building-a-product-from-scratch-is-kind-of-share-7490683485678886913-N1Rt/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAADxROABbc-TV2EVDhYXH_IJZ4NCUzO07SQ
